Why not make a weekend of Music at Paxton?
There are numerous local accommodation providers, some within walking distance of Paxton House.
The Scottish Borders is a fascinating area. Bustling market towns, magnificent abbeys and rolling hills to the west; picturesque coves and fishing villages along the Berwickshire coastline; and the Tweed Valley with its castles and stately homes. The village of Paxton is a short walk from the Paxton Estate, and the historic Union Chain Bridge – which celebrated its 200th birthday in 2020 – can be seen in all its splendour from the grounds of Paxton.
South of the Border, England’s most northerly town of Berwick-upon-Tweed – with its Elizabethan walls and iconic Royal Border Bridge – is just 5 miles from Paxton. The unique island of Lindisfarne lies a mile off the mainland south of Berwick, and the Northumberland National Park is a short drive away.
