Priority booking

Priority booking is offered to Friends of Music at Paxton from Monday 16 April. You can still join the Friends and take advantage of early booking by contacting the Friends’ Secretary, Muriel Woodward by telephoning 0191 386 1965, or by emailing muriel.woodward@btinternet.com. Alternatively you can click to download support brochure to join the Friends. Simply complete the form and return.

Any unsold tickets will be available to purchase from the box office at Paxton House from one hour before the start of each performance.

Concessions

Concessions are available to those under 18 or in full time education, registered unemployed, disabled persons and their carers/escorts. We regret we are not able to offer concessions to senior citizens.

Doors/Access

Concerts take place in the Picture Gallery (up the stairs at the far side of the courtyard), which houses paintings from the National Galleries of Scotland. Doors will open 30 minutes before the start of each performance. We regret that latecomers can be admitted only when there is a suitable break in the programme.

Paxton House has fully disabled access, although assistance is required for wheelchair users to take advantage of the lifts (which are situated in a room adjacent to the Waiting Room, on the left side of the courtyard). It is important that if you are a wheelchair user, you let us know in advance, so that we can welcome you and make all arrangements necessary for your comfort.
